Intoxicating, dark and energetic music!

The Dark- / Gothic Metal Band band MIRRORED IN SECRECY has been founded in 2003 by David Timsit.

In 2006 Jeremy Iskandar joined the band and together they recorded their EP "Devotion", which has been self-produced. In the same year the band has been completed by Christian Peters (Gutiar), Tobias Conrady (Bass) and Daniel Bendel (Drums).

The band started to play live at the end of 2007 by supporting the bavarian Gothic Rock institution Beyond The Void. Several gigs where following, while MiS where recording new songs.

In 2009 they came up with a very ambitious EP-release called "Truth". The five-piece band recorded three songs with Radu Marinescu (Unheilig, De/Vision) and Mika Jussila from the Finnvox Studios (Him, Sentenced). The reception through the media has been outstanding. The German Metal Hammer wrote: "What a sound - what a band!", while the Sonic Seducer put them on the Cover DVD as one of their Top 50 Newcomer. But still the band has been unsigned and did everything with a DIY-philosophy.

Three years later, after Tobias Conrady and Daniel Bendel left MiS, they found replacement in Johanna Neumann (Bass) and Florian Guhl (Drums). Furthermore the band decided to add a female singer. So the beautiful, yet unexperienced but talented Julia Kahlert joined MiS and together they recorded the first studio album "Day Of Renewal", which has been released through the German Gothic-label Echozone on April 27th 2012.

Again the six musicians received a lot of positive feedback from the media. Following the release, MIRRORED IN SECRECY have been featured an compilations like Gothic Spirits 16 (with Paradise Lost, Nightwish, Tiamat, Moonspell and many more) or the cover DVDs of the Zillo & Legacy magazines.

In the same year MiS made their first videoclip, which rotated on German TV (iMusic 1) and earned them more than 6000 visitors in the first two months after release.

The second full-length album "Solitution" is scheduled for a release in 2017.
